Unicorn Run

This album cover doesn't have a direct inspiration, but the original painting is the quintessential '80s fantasy airbrush art; like the kind you'd find painted on the side of a power metal band's tour van.

For the Chronicle text I just did a red to blue gradient to resemble chromatic abberation, and duplicated it for the shadow. For the Unicorn Run text I masked out the writing over a gold foil texture.

Unicorn Run is a river in the magical High Forest and home to the mythical unicorns, so the album cover implies Chronicle encountered a unicorn.
