Hi everyone! My name is Rian. I recently went to Spain and below I want to share my experience and provide some travel tips to you all.

We went on a 10 day family vacation to Spain for the first time in July 2022. My 17 year old brother and I accompanied my parents to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. We had picked the end of summer because we were getting cheap airline tickets, and we were on summer break. We picked Spain as a country to travel to because we hadn’t been there before and because it would not be as expensive according to our research. We made Madrid our base and took trains to Seville and Valencia. We flew to Barcelona from Valencia.
  

Tips

• I think direct flights where possible are the best.
• We found that Dallas to Madrid on American Airlines was the cheapest and fastest flight to get into Spain
• You should search for flights at least 3 months ahead to get the deal.
• You should take a rolling hand carry and not a suitcase, since it will be much easier to move around.
• Summer is very hot weather in Spain , it is better to go in Fall
• Watch out for pickpockets, and keep an eye on your luggage at all times
