glasstaff

Name: Unknown

In the heart of the Sword Coast, amidst the shadows of Phandalin's tangled streets, lurks a figure cloaked in mystery and malice - the enigmatic Black Widow. Once a proud Drow, her fate was forever altered by the cruel hand of the goddess Lolth, the spider queen, who cast upon her the dreaded transformation into a drider, a half-drow, half-spider hybrid, as punishment for a transgression shrouded in secrecy.

Little is known of her past, save for her inscrutable alliance with the enigmatic figure known only as Glasstaff, and her malevolent hand in the upheaval that grips Phandalin and its environs. Her sinister machinations have plunged the Sword Coast into chaos, leaving its inhabitants trembling in fear and uncertainty.

Among her nefarious deeds, none are more notorious than the abduction of Gundren Rockseeker, a dwarf of renown and confidant to Oberstone, leaving behind a trail of unanswered questions and whispered rumors.

As the Tormentors, valiant champions of order, delve deeper into the secrets hidden beneath the ancient stones of Tresendar Manor, they stumble upon The Glasstaffs necromantic lab, and a relic of forgotten magic - a communication device of ages past. With trepidation, they activate the device, unwittingly opening a channel to the dark heart of the Black Widow herself.

Through the crackling ether, her chilling voice resonates, revealing fragments of her malevolent design - a quest for vengeance against the very gods themselves, a quest for which she will sacrifice all and stop at nothing to achieve.

Yet, her true intentions remain veiled in shadow, her grand scheme obscured by the webs of deceit she has spun. As the Tormentors brace themselves for the inevitable clash with this dark force, they know that the path ahead is fraught with peril and uncertainty, for the Black Widow's web ensnares all who dare to oppose her.
