Known in Seiko circles as "The Tuna", a nickname given to these watches because of their tuna can-like cases. This model was introduced in 2015.

7002 was the model that replaced 6309 and was produced between 1988-1996. In the last year of production it transitioned from 150m with a bidirectional 60 bezel to a 200m version and unidirectional 120 click bezel.

In 1967, IWC reacted to the growing popularity of amateur scuba diving and launched its first divers’ watch. The first Aquatimer (Ref. 812AD) was water-resistant to 200 meters and became the foundation of a successful new watch family for the watch brand from Schaffhausen.
