We got Psyche when she was about a year old. She was coming
from a kill shelter in Oklahoma,
where she was in line to be euthanized that day. We waited hours to see her, and once I
looked into her eyes, I knew she was going to be my dog.
This is Psyche in the grass with her favorite thing: a ball
Psyche has had a hard life.
♥♥♥♥
We don't know much about what happened to Psyche in her past,
but we do know that she is terrified of loud noises and thundestorms.
She will try her hardest to hide in the weirdest spots just to avoid
the lightning and thunder when it storms.
When it snowed in February, we found out that Psyche LOVES
to play in the snow and try to eat it.
--sometimes, she bites into the ground a little too hard and gets
a bunch of wet grass in her mouth, which is funny to see her instantly regret.
♥♥♥♥
Psyche loves many things, like snow. But by adopting her and getting to know
her, there is
much more to love about her.
(like her adorable face)
Psyche LOVES being in the car. Every time she is near a car, she wants inside.
She jumps on the cars, and sadly, scratches them, but we all know she just wants
to spend at least a minute sitting in any seat.
♥♥♥♥Psyche can also be a goofball. For some reason, she likes jumping on the
counters.
This is Psyche jumping on the counter out of excitement and I quickly
took a photo before she was told to get down. She also really loves
to be on the couch...
♥♥♥♥
As I said earlier; she LOVES being in the car.
She loves scratching the car doors(which sucks for us).
Psyche was named after the Greek Goddess, Psyche: Goddess of the Soul
Psyche's birthday is March 12, 2020
Psyche is a very short German Shepherd. We think she is mixed with a smaller breed
of dog called a Chow Chow. We think this because she has a single black spot on her tongue which
is a signature look for Chow breeds.
