A Celebration of the Games
On October 31, 2024, Dragon Age: The Veilguard released. As an avid fan of the series, and one who has waited eagerly for the last decade, I made this website to celebrate the series as a whole and showcase my personal protagonists for each game. This can be considered my "canon" for the series, based on the characters I created to be the protagonists for each game. Be warned, though: spoilers may lurk here. Enjoy!
Theron Mahariel
THE HERO OF FERELDEN
- Origin: Dalish
- Class: Rogue
- Romance: Zevran
A Dalish elf Blighted due to an accident with a mysterious mirror, Theron is a practical-minded sort. He does not shy from great effort to achieve peace, but he accepts that there are many who simply choose to be cruel. To those people, he holds no mercy.

- Saved the mages
- Brought mages to save Connor
- Brokered peace between Dalish & werewolves
- Destroyed Anvil of the Void and crowned Bhelen as king
- Did not fight Flemeth
- Hardened Alistair
- Convinced Alistair and Anora to marry

- Did the Dark Ritual for Morrigan
- Saved both Vigil's Keep and Amaranthine
Companion Relationships
- Convinced Zevran to leave the Crows
- Commiserated with Sten about being outsiders in Ferelden
- Encouraged Alistair to step up to his potential, but also to see that the world is not always so nice
- Agreed with Morrigan about Flemeth's plans and power
- Pushed Leliana to accept the darkness present in herself and the world, and use it for good
- Learned a great deal about spirits from Wynne
- Mostly ignored Oghren (recruited him for his fighting ability)

Malia Hawke
THE CHAMPION OF KIRKWALL
- Personality: Humorous
- Class: Rogue
- Romance: Fenris
Chased from her home by the darkspawn surging from Ostagar during the Fifth Blight, Malia has spent her life protecting her family above all else. She is known for keeping the mood light, though this can result in the occasional poorly-timed joke. Still, she is loyal to her family--including the friends that become part of it.

- Did not bring Bethany to the Deep Roads
- Sent Feynriel first to the Dalish, then later to Tevinter
- Accepted the Arishok's challenge and defeated him
- Did not blackmail Thrask
- Did not get along well with the Grand Cleric

- Helped mages escape Kirkwall when possible

- Supported Merrill's project

Amir Lavellan
THE INQUISITOR
- Origin: Dalish
- Class: Rogue
- Romance: Dorian
Though he'd been at the Divine's conclave simply to observe, Amir Lavellan is hopelessly curious. He found himself attempting to help, and wound up with the Anchor on his hand for his troubles. Power didn't particularly appeal to him, but the ability to help many people did--especially his fellow Dalish. He made every effort to put his best foot forward.

Oisín Mercar
ROOK

- Class: Mage
- Romance: Lucanis
Hand-picked by Varric Tethras, Oisín is very much an optimist. This occasionally gets him into trouble, but just as often helps him out of it. A bit less diplomatic than Amir, Oisín nevertheless strives to be helpful where he can, and mourns when he cannot.
