Am unsure if I can't bridge the 4315 to the R7000, whether its an alternative to use the R7000 in AP / repeater mode.

If you have previously used this modem for ADSL2+ service and it is not lock to Belong's network, then it should work and all you need to do is configure the modem by following settings:Copyright © 2020 TPG Internet Pty Ltd ABN 15 068 383 737 - All Rights Reserved | Section Moderator reference: whrl.pl/ReDQdd.

Ethernet from LAN1 of 4315 to "Internet" of R7000. So what is the modem actually doing? Pretty poor form on Belong when their IT Support (both level 1 and 2) have no idea how the firmware works on their modems and tried to palm me off to Sagemcom....

belong 4353 modem firmware

posted 2017-Jan-26, 11:54 am AEST posted 2017-Jan-26, 1:07 pm AEST Belong Sagemcom F@st 4315 with 3rd party providerCurrently I can connect to Aussie Broadband's line through 4315 but I would like to bridge it to R7000 and use the R7000 as the main wifi (including utilising QOS, ac network and the 5Ghz channel).

The firmware version on 4315 is 9.35. The 2.4GHz frequency provides Wi-Fi coverage for a greater distance from the modem, but may perform at a slower speed when compared to 5GHz.
